I sat back, watched, read and listened to opinions on this Presidential election however I didn’t watch the debates and I didn’t entertain the hired guns for either side that worked for whatever media outlet that needed a mouthpiece to push their agendas. I waited until the close of the voting polls to comment on this fiasco of an election and how we wound up with the two choices that are Clinton and Trump. Are you ready? Cool. Clinton and Trump are coons. Yes, I said coons and the media outlets were the minstrel show.
Back in the day a coon was a word used to describe a person of African descent whose sole purpose was to entertain white people. The minstrel show was a form of entertainment performed by white people in blackface for the purpose of playing the role of black people. In my opinion these terms no longer apply to African American’s in the racist context it was used. These terms can now be universally used to describe the majority of Americans so YES, I am calling Clinton and Trump modern day coons. They are Uncle Toms, shuckin and jivin caricatures of political officers for the modern day masses and the world watched the show like it was American Idol.
The media outlets had a field year (not day) with these characters Zip Coon and Aunt Dinah Roh as they offered a steady stream of material for jokes, fear for the future of the country and hate mongering just to name a few issues. Media ratings were through the roof. People were hired to create arguments across media desks just to push the buttons of whatever faction of people were watching. This was not an election. This was a minstrel show and I wanted to see how far these two coons would go.
We saw, read and heard everything from Trump’s, “grab em in the @#@#$” to Clinton’s “e-mail” issue. Both of them created lies or half-truth’s and media outlets made sure to espouse on their candidates platform by bending the equal time rule. The equal time rule basically says that if one candidate is on your media outlet you have to allow the other the same amount of time for the same dollar value. The caveat is political debates not hosted by the media station are considered "news events," and as a result, are not subject to the rule. In other words as long as you are doing a “news story” you can love or hate on any candidate as you see fit.
So at the end of today we were left with two people that are not Presidential material to choose from. You will either vote for Trump because YOU don’t want a woman as the President or you will vote for Clinton because YOU don’t want an ass in the office. With either choice you were bamboozled.
